Little Man finally went back to early head start today after being home for two weeks straight. Don’t get me wrong, I love the little guy but he is turning into quite the chatterbox. With him being gone during the day, that leaves me time to do nothing all day. I used to just watch talk shows all day, take naps, eat, then go pick him up. But I recently discovered the benefits of prenatal yoga. I’ve heard all along that yoga is good for you and blah blah blah, but until this point in my pregnancy I was SUPER tired. This morning after I got home from dropping Little Man off at school, I turned on some soothing music and tried out the video that is at the bottom of this post. Now I am not one to willingly exercise, but this video didn’t feel like exercising at all! I will definitely be putting this video series into my everyday routine. It made me wake up more than usual and I didn’t nap AT ALL today! It was great!
I’m almost 17 weeks along now, meaning I’m almost halfway through this pregnancy. This one seems to be going slower than my first did, but I found out about this one about 5 weeks earlier than the first. According to everything I’ve read, I should start to feel the baby move at any time. I think I’ve felt little movements but I’m not 100% sure. In early August, we’ll hopefully find out if we’re having another boy or a little girl…if this baby isn’t modest anyway.
Now for random sentences thrown into a paragraph. I just ate the most flavorless blueberries that I’ve ever eaten in my life! Maybe I’m just bad at picking out blueberries, who knows! OMG! Have you ever seen the show Clipped on TBS? It has Ashley Tisdale, Lauren Lapkus, and George Wendt (to name a few) in it, and it’s about a bunch of people in/near Boston (they have MASSIVE Bostonian accents) who were friends growing up that now work in a barber shop. Okay, so my explanation sounds bad but seriously check it out!
I think that’s about all I have to throw at you for now. I’ll be back later to tell you more. Let me know if you watch Clipped! Email or comments are great! See you later!
^There’s the yoga video I tried if anyone would like to give it a try or recommend it to anyone!
I’m officially one week into my second trimester of my second pregnancy. This pregnancy has been a MILLION times different than my first one was! I haven’t gotten sick at all (knock on wood), just slightly nauseous. Last pregnancy, I got sick any and every time I got into a car. I remember one trip to Walmart (which is about a 5 minute drive from my house), I made it to the store and through our whole shopping trip without getting sick. When we got back out to the parking lot, I started to get sick in the parking lot. An older lady walked up to me and asked if I needed anything and I informed her that it was just morning sickness due to being pregnant. She said AND I QUOTE “God love a duck.” I have absolutely no idea what that means but that is the one thing that my husband and I still talk almost two years later. I had another checkup yesterday and everything sounds great so far. We’re going on vacation at the end of July so I won’t be having another checkup until early August. HOPEFULLY, that’ll be when the anatomy ultrasound takes place so (if baby cooperates) we can find out what we’ll be having!
As you can see, I’m pretty excited about that but there are a few other things to be excited about too! Little Man is now officially a walker! He’s been walking on his own for a little over a week now. He’s still a bit slow but he’s starting to speed up some. On our vacation in July, we get to see my aunt and uncle that I haven’t seen since my mom’s wedding to my stepdad about 9 years ago. They’ve never met my husband or my son so I’m super excited for that! That’s about all that’s going on for us right now! How are you all doing? Anything exciting happening this summer for you? Let me know!
Yep! It’s happening! Baby #2 is on the way. This is the reason I haven’t posted in a while. I didn’t want to slip and write about it before my husband and I had the chance to tell all of our parents. I’m due on Christmas Day so I’m hoping that I’ll be able to eat all the good food and spend Christmas with family and then have the baby. I do not want to be in the hospital for Christmas. As of yesterday, I’m 9 weeks along. I’ve only been nauseous so far, which is AWESOME. Little Man will be about 22 months old when this baby is born so I’m hoping he’ll have some of an understanding before he/she gets here. Other than this big news, nothing much has been going on. I sleep as much as possible, Little Man is teething terribly, and my husband has been working.
How is your life going? Let me know!
